Dolby Theatre of Los Angeles

Dolby Theatre of Los Angeles

Glamour, movie stars and show business. Known worldwide as the venue for Oscars since 2002, the Dolby Theatre is an elegant European-style building equipped with the latest technology.

The Dolby Theatre, formerly known as the Kodak Theatre, is located on Hollywood Boulevard next to another of the city's amazing attractions, the TCL Chinese Theatre.

The Dolby Theatre offers a guided tour of its facilities (a guided tour is the only way to visit) that allows you to tour some of its rooms and see the magnificent red hall we've seen so many times filled with famous faces at the Academy Awards.

Although the Dolby Theatre is an iconic Hollywood landmark, you should be aware that it may not look as magnificent as you've pictured it without the characteristic red carpet and curtain it sports during awards ceremonies.
