El Matador State Beach

El Matador State Beach

In contrast to the classic Hollywood stretches of white sand that go on for miles along the coast, this rocky paradise is a little different with its enchanting caves, sheer cliffs and deep golden sand

This beach is particularly striking, especially at sunset when the magnificent rocky formations and the golden sand reflect the auburn rays of the sun.

Unlike other beaches that are easily accessible from the car park, to get to El Matador you have to take the steep path and steps that lead down to the beach, so it's important to bear this in mind before you visit.
